Boulder Baked serves comfort food -- soups, pot pies, grilled cheese sandwiches, etc. -- and desserts in the evenings, because that's when you want them. Everything is made from scratch using natural ingredients and no preservatives. Our cookies are baked to order, so you can enjoy them right out of our ovens or delivered to you warm with milk, coffee and ice cream. We work hard to develop many vegan and gluten-free choices if that's what you prefer. You are welcome to customize and, who knows, if it catches on we may add it to the menu for others to enjoy. We deliver care packages to your CU student and serve a lot of weddings, birthdays and meetings.

How long have you been in business?
Boulder Baked started business in September of 2003
What is your primary product or service?
Baked-to-order all natural cookies is where it all started. Now we have all types of cupcakes, cakes, cheese cakes and other desserts, along with grilled cheese sandwiches, soups, pot pies and other comfort food.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I've always enjoyed making and especially eating desserts, so when I graduated from the University of Colorado I decided to graduate from working for restaurants and bakeries to starting the one I always wanted to visit.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Taste is our number one goal. We don't offer a product until it is the best we've ever tried. This is accomplished through using only the finest all natural ingredients and then a lot of experimentation to get it just right.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Currently we are located at 1911 Broadway in downtown Boulder and we are planning to open a second location in Denver fall of 2015.
