Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
We were established in 1975.
What is your primary product or service?
Ignite Adaptive Sports offers alpine and nordic skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing lessons to individuals with physical and/or mental disabilities.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Ignite is committed to keeping our program financially accessible to all interested students through lower costs and scholarships. Generous grants enable us to offer free lessons to all disabled veterans. Our home at Eldora Mountain provides access to the slopes while avoiding I-70 traffic woes.
What are your hours of operation?
Lessons begin the last week of December and run through the end of March. Our regular lesson days are Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. With enough advance notice we can also schedule an occasional weekday lesson.
